Fast fashion retailer from Spain, Zara, has released pictures of the Fall/Winter 2008 collection.

Three piece suits, trench coats, leather jackets, fur trimming comprise the Fall/Winter 2008 collection for Zara. Following the current trends, the collection is very vest heavy with a nod towards tailored looks. Props to Secret Agent Style for the video and pics. And if you spruce up your wardrobe with Zara, spruce up you home with Zara Home.

After Valentino Garavani announced his retirement last year, it was initially thought that an internal team would be taking care of the menswear side. Back in November, Valentino SpA’s chairman, Matteo Marzotto told reporters, “We are working with our internal team as regards menswear. And for now we are thinking of approaching the next season in this way.”

But now they have announced that Ferruccio Pozzoni, will head up the men’s wear division for the company. Pozzoni was most recently creative director at Brioni, and also did time at both Miu Miu and Prada men. With this background he should be a comfortable fit at Valentino and we look forward to see his debut.

Pozzoni joins Lars Nilsson at Gianfranco Ferré, Angela Missoni at Missoni, and Jean-Paul Knott at Cerruti, who will also all debut during this year.
