URBAN OUTFITTERS TAKES AIM AT BROOKLYN
March 13, 2008

Our dear friends over at Racked, have posted this befuddling ad (pictured above) for Urban Outfitters. The retailer is venturing (finally) into Brooklyn.
How urban of them.
The first store is set to bow tomorrow morning at Atlantic Ave. To usher in the festivities, the retailer put together this ad which a Racked commenter notes as looking “like an 8th grade art project”. The feel of Brooklyn is captured through a montage of pictures including brownstones, the L train, Biggie & Jay-Z, and a screen-shot from Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out (wtf!).
Well, Brooklynites, at least you know that you now have an outlet for urban outfits.

Let it hang!”
This advice from her Poshness comes as she coincidentally gets ready to launch a men’s denim line for her label dVb. BTW, dVb stands for David and Victoria Beckham.
The initial line includes different washes (from dark to vintage to light grey), make use of Japanese denim and will be priced from $220 to $285.
