SHANE & SHAWN FLAGSHIP BOUTIQUE LAUNCH PARTY OPENING

The Shane & Shawn flagship boutique launch opening went down on Tuesday night and the shop was packed for the festivities. The Nolita store celebrated it’s opening with the designer twin duo, host Bijou Phillips and a crowd of fans.

The place was courted by the downtown set who kicked back cocktails while ogling the brand’s current spring/summer collection of both footwear collections, Shane & Shawn and DETNY. Among the revelers was Mickey Boardman of Paper Magazine. Natalie Albino and Nicole Albino of Nina Sky rocked the turntables.

Designers Shane and Shawn brought their ‘boardroom rockstar’ vibe to the fore in the chic boutique which is the initial store of an aggressive expansion plan heading next to their hometown of Detroit, and then in 2010, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami.

With their ‘boardroom rockstar’ inspiration the designers come at a different angle with fashionable shoes that are comfortable and versatile. As the designers told us, they are set to fit the “person who’s appropriately dressed in any boardroom atmosphere”.

The flagship store is located at 238 Mulberry Street, NYC.
