Someday we may all be wearing advanced tech clothing such as this BLU jacket from Lunar Design. This piece of smart clothing incorporates technologies like e-paper and flexible organics which can be used to design flexible computer displays. Using advanced electronic fabrics could bring a whole new dimension to the functionality of clothing.

Picture a jacket that visually displays your mood through the day to alert others to the consequences of approaching you if you’re in a bad way. Or instantly pulling up a map on you sleeve for directions. There’s even the possibility of displaying advertisements thus bringing about a whole new meaning to ad sense.

Though it’s not for the mass market, these technologies may not be so far off.
