Say hello to the couture shows which start today over in Paris.

Although the market for couture is limited and exclusive to a small set of wealthy women the haute couture market is apparently thriving, despite current economic conditions.

WWD reports that, “couture continues to flourish despite widespread economic turmoil. What’s more, it’s expanding international customer base — flush with wealth, and increasingly from destinations to the east — is demanding more exclusivity and service than ever.”
