Jacob & Co. Inc., the company founded by disgraced jeweler Jacob Arabov is suing musician Wyclef Jean. They claim that Wyclef owes money for jewelry and watches that he bought between 2002 and 2006. Damn Wyclef!
The NY Post is reports that, “Jacob & Co. Inc. says in Manhattan court papers filed Tuesday that the hip-hop star bought several items between 2002 and 2006 for $765,100. The company says Jean still owes $319,680, despite ‘repeated demands for payment’.”
Reps for Wyclef Jean didn’t respond to requests for comment. Hmmm, what’ve they got to hide?
As for Jacob Arabov, better known as Jacob the Jeweler, he was sentenced to 2 and 1/2 years in the slammer for lying to investigators looking into a interstate drug ring.
